FAQ

Answers from the spray booth

Still have questions?

Our technical team answers the phone Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm CST.

Which coating is right for my project?

Tell us the surface, the service conditions and the equipment you spray with, and our technical team will point you to the right system. For spec-critical work such as immersion, containment or potable water, always review the product’s technical data sheet.

What’s the difference between polyurea and polyurethane?

Pure polyurea cures extremely fast and tolerates a wide range of temperatures and humidity, which makes it ideal for sprayed membranes and linings. Polyurethanes generally cure slower and can be more economical for many bedliner and roll-on jobs. Hybrids blend the two.

Do I need high pressure or low pressure equipment?

Heated high pressure proportioners are built for fast-set pure polyureas and high production. Low pressure systems cost less, are portable and are a great fit for bedliners and smaller jobs. Call us and we’ll help size a rig for your work.

What safety equipment do I need to spray?

Spraying two-component coatings creates isocyanate aerosols. Supplied (fresh) air respiratory protection, full skin and eye protection and good ventilation are essential. Always follow the product SDS and your local regulations.

Do you carry parts for my gun or proportioner?

Yes. We stock high and low pressure gun parts, machine parts, fittings and complete rebuild kits. Not sure what fits? Send us your model and serial number and we’ll confirm before you order.

Can I finance equipment?

Buy now, pay later options starting at 0% APR may be available at checkout for eligible purchases, subject to approval.
